Training for managers

This one-day training package will give managers the skills and confidence to respond appropriately to alcohol-related harm in the workplace.

It will equip them with effective evidence-based tools recommended by the Department of Health, NICE guidance and the World Health Organisation.  Training will ensure that those with direct reports understand how to interpret and implement the organisation’s alcohol policy and feel confident in raising the issue of substance misuse with staff.

This course is highly recommended if you are implementing or overhauling a workplace substance misuse policy.

Training for health champions

This training focuses on developing champions’ skills in screening for alcohol use among staff and delivering a short, evidence-based intervention, that will help them to reduce the risks posed by excessive drinking. These tools are adaptable for other lifestyle issues.
