We have gotten together six simple mocktail recipes, with the help of Nix & Kix, who have provided us with three deliciously different mocktail recipes using their bold, exciting drink flavours. Plus find out about your chance to win a year's supply of Nix and Kix! Mango Mule 35ml of mango juice 15ml lime juice Dash of maple syrup Sparkles of cinnamon Nix & Kix Mango Ginger Garnish: rosemary sprig, lime wheel, chilli, cinnamon stick (optional) Pour mango juice, lime juice, maple syrup, and cinnamon into a highball glass, stir well to dissolve the cinnamon and top with ice. Fill with Nix & Kix Mango Ginger. Add garnish. Arnold Palmer 1 part iced tea 1 part lemonade This is another classic mixed drink, and it requires only two ingredients! Simply mix the iced tea and lemonade in a glass filled with ice cubes, and garnish with a slice of lemon if you fancy it. A favourite of golfer Arnold Palmer, you’ll see why when you taste it! Peach and Vanilla iced tea 35ml peach puree 6 fresh mint leaves and 2-3 peach wedges 15ml fresh lemon juice 10ml maple syrup Nix & Kix Peach Vanilla Garnish: Mint sprig, lemon wedge, chilli For the puree, cut fresh peach in small pieces, and blend with a dash of water, until smooth. Add all other ingredients in a glass jar. Add ice and stir well to release all the aromas. Top up with Nix & Kix. Add garnish. Nojito 1 oz lime juice 4 oz lemonade/club soda 6 mint leaves 2 tsp of brown sugar Add the mint leaves, lime juice and brown sugar into a glass. Muddle the mint leaves (ideally with a muddler, but a teaspoon will do the job!). Fill the glass with ice cubes, add the lemonade, and stir to mix up the sugar. Garnish with another mint sprig. Virgin Pina Colada 1 part pineapple juice 1 part coconut cream 1 cup crushed ice Maraschino cherry and pineapple wedge for garnish Pina coladas are one of those drinks that taste just as good (better even?) without alcohol. Just mix the pineapple juice and coconut cream and add to a glass of crushed ice to enjoy this tropical mocktail. Cucumber Mojito 15ml fresh lime juice 6 fresh mint leaves Dash of agave syrup Nix & Kix Cucumber Mint Garnish: Cucumber slice, mint sprig, chilli Clap mint leaves in your hands to release the aroma, rub mint leaves around the rim of a highball glass and drop in. Pour lime juice and agave into glass and add cucumber slices. Half fill the glass with crushed ice and use a bar spoon to stir the mixture to blend and release aromas. Top up with crushed ice and Nix & Kix Cucumber Mint. Add garnish. The top three Dry January fundraisers will win a year's supply of Nix & Kix drinks! How do you get that sweet #cayennehappiness?
