Publications
Alcohol Concern maintains a specialised collection of journals,
e-journals, books and electronic literature on alcohol-related issues.
The collection consists of:
- an archive of Alcohol Concern publications
- a core collection of publications on all alcohol-related issues from 1996 onwards
- a bookshop of selected AC publications for purchase
The library database holds details of the collection
and can be accessed online using the "Library search" function.
- Copies of journal articles can be ordered on line via the website.
- Use "Bookshop search" or "Browse Bookshop" to find out what is available for purchase.
Publication prices

Advice booklets cost £2.75 each (postage included).
Alcohol Concern members receive one free copy each
and a discount of 10% on orders of 100 copies and over.

Factsheets cost £2.75 each. An executive summary is free to download from the AC website and a copy of the complete fact sheet will be available in print format or electronic format. Alcohol Concern Members receive one free copy of each.

Straight Talk - an annual subscription to Straight Talk will cost £65 for 4 copies. Members receive one copy of Straight Talk free of charge as part of their membership package - see the Membership section of the AC website for further details.

Conclusions and recmmendations:
Set up victim feedback mechanism and make information available regarding the alcohol awareness session. Sell the scheme by feeding information regarding re-offending rates, numbers accessing the scheme, and positive client impressions back to local businesses, shop owners, public transport and alcohol licensees. Continue to record and evaluate the session feedback forms from clients, including LJMU produced follow-up questionnaires, where appropriate.
