How we can help

Website
This website contains a wide range of information about alcohol. You can also upload your own content (subject to review by AC staff) such as jobs, events and news. These features are only available if you register on the site.

Advice
Alcohol Concern does not operate a helpline, nor provide actual services to individuals with alcohol problems. For further help and advice contact Drinkline, on 0800 917 82 82 (freephone). You could also use the services directory, to find an alcohol advice or counselling service in your area. If you are worried about your drinking you can have a look at the website Down Your Drink for tips on how to cut back.

The Business Development Unit provides a range of consultancy and training services designed and delivered by experts in the field. Consultancy services are available to investigate and advise on measures to tackle alcohol related harm, for example, by supporting PCTs and Local Authorities in carrying out Alcohol Needs Assessments, Local Alcohol Impact Studies and developing Local Alcohol Strategies. For further information please call 020 7264 0520 or email consultancy@alcoholconcern.org.uk

A range of training packages are available on topics such as Alcohol Awareness, Brief Interventions and Alcohol and Young People. For further information please call 020 7264 0520 or email training@alcoholconcern.org.uk
