Factsheet: Putting brief interventions into practice
Despite the evidence of the effectiveness of brief interventions, implementation of brief intervention programmes in primary care remains the exception rather than the rule.
The purpose of this factsheet is to look at five screening and brief interventions programmes operating in England and identify common themes - such as the difficulties they faced implementing the projects as well as highlighting pointers for success.
