Government targets alcohol loss-leading, taxation and licensing

The UK's coalition government has pledged to ban the sale of alcohol below cost price in an effort to cut binge-drinking in England and Wales.
The coalition also outlined plans to review alcohol taxation and pricing and strengthen licensing powers in the Crime and Policing section of its new policy document, 'The Coalition: our programme for government'. Read more.
