Alcohol awareness group announces independent review panel

Drinkaware, the drinks industry-funded alcohol awareness charity, has announced the membership of its independent review panel.

Chaired by Sir Hugh Taylor, Chairman of the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and former Permanent Secretary at the Department of Health, the panel includes Sir Ian Gilmore, chair of the Alcohol Health Alliance, and Chris Heffer, Deputy Director Alcohol and Drugs at the Department of Health.
