Board of trustees
The Board of trustees for Alcohol Concern has control of the charity, its property and funds. Trustees meet six times a year (including the AGM which takes place in November). Elections for national trustees are held every two years. Trustees are nominated by a member of the charity and a postal ballot is held if nominations exceed vacancies. Scottish and Welsh representatives are also elected on a two-year cycle. Trustees can co-opt members to the Board for their particular skills and experience pending election at the next AGM.
